KPI’s Festival of Innovation Projects crowned with success

The 10th Anniversary Festival of Innovation Projects “Sikorsky Challenge 2021: Ukraine & the World” took place at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) on August 12-14, 2021. This year the event was remarkable for a record number of startups and contestants who applied for participation in it.

On the final day of the Festival, projects were pitched in the sections “Agrarian Engineering” and “Information Technologies, Digital Country, Cybersecurity”. While the international jury was summing up the results, the contestants had an opportunity to communicate with investors and other startup project teams. Attendees for the Festival acquainted themselves with presentations on stands. Overall, 30 winners were determined, six of them having gained an outright victory in their respective sections.

The award ceremony was held at the end of the event. Festival partners delivered speeches and investors announced startups with which they would like to launch cooperation. The 10th Festival Sikorsky Challenge has been raised to a qualitatively new level, and stakeholders are impatient to see the tangible results of newly established collaborations between science and business.
