Looking forward to the year 2024, Professor Sorin Costreie, President of the Network of Universities from the Capitals of Europe (UNICA), has announced the inaugural UNICA Days scheduled for February 28 – March 1 in Brussels.
The compelling theme of this event, open to the entire UNICA community, will be “Navigating the Future: Strengthening Democracy through Education and Research.” It is expected to provide an exclusive platform for the UNICA community to engage with key representatives, stakeholders, and decision-makers influencing Higher Education policy in Europe.
He also mentioned active engagement and awareness initiatives related to the upcoming European elections in June. In addition, UNICA plans various activities in the areas of International Higher Education, Research, and Sustainability through its seven Working Groups.
On behalf of the UNICA Steering Committee and Secretariat, Professor Costreie reaffirmed the commitment to strengthening bonds within the network. He envisions the year 2024 as a period characterized by collective efforts, inventive power, and decisive actions.
