KPI alumnus and his team develop Google rival

Dmytro Herasymenko, an alumnus of Ukraine’s Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institue (KPI), and his team have recently embarked on creating their own search engine called Yep.com, which has integrated Yep.TLDR, a counterpart of the well-known viral chatbot ChatGPT. Although the product is still in beta and does not currently generate any revenue, it is geared to compete with Google in terms of philosophy and business model.

It is worth noting that Dmytro Herasymenko studied computer science at KPI and moved to Singapore in 2012 to continue developing his core business, Ahrefs link analysis tools.

Ahrefs Pte. Ltd. has more than 50,000 customers worldwide, including employees from technology giants such as Facebook, Uber, eBay, Linkedin, Pinterest and others. The software company generates approximately $100 million in annual revenue.
