The Lithuanian band LT United whose performance of We Are the Winners won them sixth place in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006, have remade the song into You Are the Winners, Ukraine in support of Ukraine.
The remake includes the phrase uttered by Ukrainian border guards at Snake Island, which has become a rallying cry: “Russian warship, go fuck yourself”, and the lyrics that Ukrainians are fighting for their native land and will not give it away to anyone.
