Preliminary Round of the 18th Chopin Competition postponed to July because of pandemic

The dates of the Preliminary Round of the 18th Chopin Competition have been changed. More than 160 pianists qualified for the Competition will be performing at the Chamber Hall of the National Philharmonic in Warsaw on July 12-23, 2021.

Consultations with the jurors of the Competition preceded the decision on a change in the date of the preliminary round. The decision is related to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

The list of the pianists, who are qualified for the preliminary round, has not changed, and to explore it, visit https://chopin2020.pl/pl/competitors. It is worth noting that the Ukrainian pianist, Anfisa Bobylova (pictured), will participate in the preliminary round. Previously she won numerous awards at international piano competitions in Ukraine, Italy, Austria, Spain and France.

REFUND OF TICKETS

In case of canceling a ticket by June 12, 2021, the Chopin Institute will be able to refund 100% of its price.

18TH CHOPIN COMPETITION
