Preliminary round of the 18th Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition postponed to late September

Preliminaries to the 18th Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition will take place on September 18-29 in the Chamber Music Hall of the National Philharmonic in Warsaw.

The preliminary round has been postponed because of emergency precautions taken nationwide in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.

Tickets for the preliminary auditions retain validity and will be accepted as follows:

    • Tickets for 17 April will be valid on 18 September;
    • Tickets for 18 April will be valid on 19 September;
    • Tickets for 19 April will be valid on 20 September;
    • Tickets for 20 April will be valid on 21 September;
    • Tickets for 21 April will be valid on 22 September;
    • Tickets for 22 April will be valid on 23 September;
    • Tickets for 23 April will be valid on 24 September;
    • Tickets for 24 April will be valid on 25 September;
    • Tickets for 25 April will be valid on 26 September;
    • Tickets for 26 April will be valid on 27 September;
    • Tickets for 27 April will be valid on 28 September;
    • Tickets for 28 April will be valid on 29 September.
