A press conference entitled “Ukrainian-Polish Days of Education, Science and Innovations in Kyiv” will be held at the news agency UKRINFORM on April 3 at 12.00 a.m. (Hall 1)

Mykhailo Zgurovsky, Head of the Council of the Association of Rectors of Technical Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine, голова ради Асоціації ректорів вищих технічних навчальних закладів України, Rector of National Technical University “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” and Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Jan Pieklo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Ukraine, Waldemar Siwinski, President of the Polish Education Foundation PERSPEKTYWY.
In brief. The purpose of the meeting is to inform the public of prospects for cooperation of educators of Poland and Ukraine. The Ukrainian-Polish Days of Education, Science and Innovations, which will take place in Kyiv in early April, are devoted to the development of such cooperation, as well as the Forum of Rectors of Technical HEIs of Ukraine and Poland that will be held at the Igor Sikorsky KPI from April 6 to April 7 within the framework of the program of the event.
Additional information. Jaroslaw Gowin, Deputy Premier and Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Poland; Liliia Hrynevych, Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine; Jan Pieklo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Ukraine; and others will participate in the Forum. During the event the stakeholders plan to sign an agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Poland and in the field of education and science. The Polish-Ukrainian Days of Education, Science and Innovations will close with a gala concert in which the best artistic amateur groups of Polish and Ukrainian universities are supposed to take part. Remarkably, Kasia Mos, who will represent Poland at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, is the special guest of the concert.
