Every year, two dedicated staff members of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) receive an award from Poland’s Section of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute’s Graduates (Sekcja Wychowankow Politechniki Kijowskiej – SWPK) for the outcomes of fruitful research and educational cooperation between KPI and its Polish partners.
This year, Olha Demydenko, who serves as Head of the KPI Academic Mobility Office, has been awarded the Golden Badge of Honor for her active engagement in academic mobility projects between Ukraine and Poland. In addition, Viktor Kvasnytskyi, professor at the KPI Institute of Materials Science and Welding, has been recognized with the award of this badge for his collaborative efforts with Polish scientists in securing a research grant under the NATO Science for Peace and Security (SPS) Programme.
