In Ukraine, KPI leads in engineering & technology ranked by QS

The 12th edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject, released on April 6 by international higher education analysts QS Quacquarelli Symonds, names the world’s top universities for the study of 51 academic disciplines and five broad faculty areas.

The Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) is the Ukraine’s best for engineering & technology, followed by the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. KPI ranks among the top 500 in two disciplines.

The QS rankings provide independent comparative analysis of the performance of 15,200 individual university programs taken by students at 1,543 universities which can be found in 88 locations across the world.

In particular, KPI ranks 401-450th globally in computer science and information systems (up 100 places, compared with QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021), as well as 401-450th in engineering – electrical and electronic (up 50 places).
