Yelyzaveta Stoliarchuk and Volodymyr Karan, sophomores at the Institute for Applied System Analysis under the Igor Sikorksy Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI), won silver awards at the Challenge and Innovation Forum (CIF) Qatar 2021, which took place on November 7-11. CIF Qatar 2021 was aimed at encouraging inventors around the world and drawing the attention of the international scientific community to the latest developments in the field of innovation and cutting-edge technologies.
The format of the event included two main competitions, the exhibition of the best inventions, and a hackathon. The best inventions competition showcased the projects of individual inventors, then the participants were divided into groups where they competed to develop their unique ideas from scratch into a startup within just 48 hours. In addition, the forum comprised the exhibition of futuristic and intelligence devices, workshops designed to incentivize and involve young people in scientific and innovative activities.
It is worth noting too that Oleh Kozlenko, a professor at the KPI Department of Information Security, is the scientific supervisor of the silver award winners. Remarkably, the Qatari silver medal is the eighth award that Yelyzaveta Stoliarchuk has won at international events in the past 12 months alone.
