Anna Lee Fisher, a legendary NASA astronaut, the first mother in space will join us for Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2020!
An American chemist, emergency physician, and a former NASA astronaut. She launched into space on the space shuttle Discovery on November 8, 1984 to become NASA’s first mom in space.
14 months after giving birth to her first daughter she left her a letter where she wrote: “If anything happens to me, know that I loved you very much. Dad and grandma will look after you and I will watch over you.”
Fisher logged close to 200 hours in space and flew 5,293,786 kilometers.
