Ukrainian-Polish Forum of the Ukrainian Association of Technical Universities Rectors and Conference of Technical Universities Rectors of Polish Republic “Technical education – for the European future” will be held November 7-8, 2014, on the base of National University “Lviv Polytechnics”.
The solemn ceremony of the forum opening will be attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine Genrik Litvin, the Lviv Mayor Andrey Sadoviy, Deputy of the Minister of the education and science of Ukraine Maxim Strikha and others.
The main reports at the Forum will be presented by the Head of Ukrainian Association of Technical Universities Rectors, Rector of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” NAS of Ukraine academician Michael Zgurovsky and the Head of Conference of Technical Universities Rectors of Polish Republic, Rector of the Vrotslav Polytechnics Professor Tadeush Ventskovsky.
After first plenary meeting of the Forum the participants – rectors of Ukrainian and Polish technical universities will be working in the thematic sections: “The relation between technical universities and industry in defining the requirements to the European engineer model”; ”Quality assurance of higher technical education. European accreditation specializations of technical universities. Polish experience “; ” International dimension of research. Priority areas of joint projects of scientists of Ukraine and Poland to participate in competitions in the fields of EU programs, in particular, – Horizon 2020 and ERASMUS + »,« Innovative direction of scientific and technological cooperation of scientists technical universities of Poland and Ukraine “and” Cooperation student organizations and European mobility “.
