Dear Sirs and Madams,
We have a great pleasure to invite your University to participate in the Wrocław SmartMoto Challenge competition in August of 2018. The event will take place on August 22nd up till 26th. This competition has been held in Barcelona and Moscow since 2013, and now for the first time in Wrocław, Poland. SMC is an event where teams created of engineering and PhD students from universities from all over the world can compete by building the best electric motorcycle.
This year competition’s theme is to build an electric motorcycle cross/enduro type, which will be able to compete both on off-road track and on asphalt, even road. This competition is a real inspiration for young engineers to fight for cleaner and greener world and electric revolution on roads is one of the ways! It’s also important to mention, that the judges for our competition do not only concentrate on the dynamic capabilities of motorcycles but also on the business plan and the design of the final product and the applied technologies. This event is a great opportunity that allows the competitors to develop their passions and to gain experience in various scientific fields.

In the attachment we have added the poster that provides more details about the competition. Due to the international nature of this event, we hope to establish new contacts with people from around the world. We would like to encourage as many universities as we can to participate in SmartMoto Challenge. As part of this event, E- Mobility Festival will take place, where automotive companies related to electromobility will present themselves. That is the reason why the whole Europe will hear about the Wrocław SmartMoto Challenge! We believe that this sort of competitions can awake potential in young engineers to take part in the upcoming electric revolution on roads.
