Oleh Kozlenko (pictured left) from Ukraine’s Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) has been selected as a coach for GENIUS Olympiad Ukraine 2023, the nationwide competition, in the “Science” category.
Mr. Kozlenko serves as the head of a research laboratory specializing in cryogenic technology at the KPI Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, in addition to his role as a teacher of technology at the KPI Polytechnic Lyceum.
Over the span of several decades, his students have been winning international and national scientific and technical competitions, worthily representing KPI and Ukraine, thanks to his scientific supervision. Among them is Andrii Mavrin (pictured right), a student at the KPI Polytechnic Lyceum.
In particular, Andrii Mavrin secured a silver medal for his innovative project on the processing of tires by cryo-vibrating method at I-FEST², the International Festival of Engineering Science and Technology in Monastir, Tunisia, in 2022.
Furthermore, he achieved a victory at the 7th International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada, iCAN 2022, which took place in August of the same year. There, he won a gold medal and the Canadian Special Award of Excellence from the Toronto International Society of Innovation & Advanced Skills (TISIAS), the organizers of the competition.
