The Page, a Ukrainian business online publication, selected 10 companies with the largest net profit in 2022 by analyzing their financial statements. The CEOs of these companies were featured as well.
Among them is the head of the Ukrainian mobile operator Kyivstar, Oleksandr Komarov, who graduated from the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI). He also holds a diploma from the U.K.’s Chartered Institute of Marketing and an MBA degree from the Stockholm School of Economics.
He has been serving as the Kyivstar president since 2018. After the outbreak of a full-scale war, the Amsterdam-listed mobile operator Veon Group, which incorporates Kyivstar, initiated the process of its withdrawal from the russian telecommunications company VimpelCom.
