On November 10, Ruslan Stefanchuk, the speaker of Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine’s parliament), has presented diplomas and awards to the young researchers who are Verkhovna Rada’s Prize winners, and parliamentary scholarship holders.
Among the nine awardees from the Igor Sikorksy Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) are Viktoriia Vorobiova at the Department of Physical Chemistry; Svitlana Nahirniak at the Department of Inorganic Substances, Water Treatment and General Chemical Technology; Inna Trus and Vita Halysh at the Department of Ecology and Plant Polymers Technology.
It is worth noting that the award ceremony took place on World Science Day for Peace and Development, which is celebrated every November 10.
