The final conference of the project “Go into the virtual highway of endless possibilities of your future business” will be held November 19, 2014, in the Conference Hall of the Academic Council of NTUU “KPI”.
The project is carried out within the framework of the program “Polish Aid for Development 2014”. Coordinators of the project are the Polish Foundation of Communication (Warsaw, Poland) and the European Agency for Innovation (Lviv, Ukraine). Its active participants are NTUU “KPI” and Lviv Banking Institute of the University of banking NBU.
The All-Ukrainian contest for students in the framework of this project has started in April 2014. The objectives of the competition were to increase the knowledge and skills of new technologies among Ukrainian students – potential entrepreneurs, promotion of new funding opportunities for future entrepreneurs, human capital development and business skills in Ukraine.
Selected participants took part in two rounds of training in Kyiv and Lviv, during which the acquired knowledge and skills in new technologies in the field of ICT, e-business and innovation in the digital economy, under the guidance of leading Ukrainian and foreign experts. Also contestants took part in a video conferences with Polish experts on the establishment and improvement of a startup.
In the course of correspondence round of the competition eight of the best student startups, developed by participants, were selected.
The final conference is the final stage of the competition. The best student competitive proposals in the following areas: innovation in the digital economy, new technologies in the field of ICT, e-business, e-commerce, e-services will be presented there. The representatives from education, business, investors and government officials are involved in the work of jury and panel discussion.
The top three proposals will receive cash reward, and will be recommended for the contest «Sikorsky Challenge 2015″.
The conference will provide an impetus for the formation of start-ups in the leading universities of Ukraine, development of a partner network of innovative structures of universities with the business community in Ukraine in the field of ICT, and will also contribute to the formation of new and interesting projects.
Students, teachers, representatives of innovative structures of universities, venture funds, managers and owners of IT firms in Ukraine are invited to participate in the final conference.
