To renew mutual relations we would like to offer you the possibility of hosting in GMU the staff of your University as visiting professors to conduct classes for our students (approx. 60 hours). The forthcoming semesters we will run courses within the following fields:

  • at the Faculty of Marine Electrical Engineering – e.g. electronics, electrical engineering, information science, automatic control and robotics,
  • at the Faculty of Marine Engineering – e.g. mechanical engineering,
  • at the Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Quality Sciences – e.g. management, commodity studies,
  • at the Faculty of Navigation – e.g. transport, logistics.

However, other fields of study extending the competences of our students, may also be agreed.

Such a visit will also allow to discuss the scope of more detailed cooperation between both institutions.

We would also like to remind you that GMU is an owner of the „Scientific Journal of Gdynia Maritime University”, issued quarterly for more than 40 years. Our Journal presents genuine results of empirical and theoretical research and is dedicated to the areas of navigation and maritime transport, electrical engineering and electronics, mechanics as well as commodity science and economics. The detailed information is available on the website http://zeszyty.am.gdynia.pl/

We would like to encourage your researchers to publish in the „Scientific Journal of Gdynia Maritime University”.

For the future activities, we can focus on scientific-didactic cooperation between our universities in a way of joint research projects and exchange of academic staff and students as well as the preparation of common scientific publications.
